Size Does Matter
This is ridiculous.
Why does each key I get have to be bigger than the last? Does key size matter?
We just bought a
2006 Honda Odyssey.
(Yes, I realize that purchasing a minivan marks a certain time in one's life that in itself is blog worthy, but let's just stick to the topic of gigantic keys for now, shall we?)
It replaced our ailing Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee had a large key in its own right, but the Odyssey puts it to shame.
Just look at this key in comparison to a normal size key. It's like
Dr. Evil and Mini-Me. Throw in a 5 button key fob and you might not want this sucker in you pocket at all -- unless you wear cargo pants.
Everything else is getting smaller -- TV's, cell phones, PDA's, cameras -- but for some reason this metal key that starts everything in motion must be larger.
Why?
[Alternatively, this post could have been titled "Is that your car key in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" or perhaps "The bigger, the better"]
