The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy MOVIE!

One of my favorite books is Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". It's a really funny sci-fi novel that should be required reading for everyone on the planet. Now it's going to be a movie!

Not much info at the site yet and even the dates on the site and in the brief trailer conflict with each other, but apparently it's coming. I really hope they do this right. I think making a movie out of a well known book like this is quite difficult because so many people already have visions in their head of what Ford, Arthur, Trillian, and Zaphod Beeblebrox look like. You're not going to match everyone's personal incarnation of Zaphod - a "two-headed, three-armed ex-hippie and totally out to lunch president of the galaxy".
