Love Actually

Sunday night, Melissa and I actually got to watch a movie at home. This is a rare occasion since the two girls generally keep us busy from morning to night (and even during the night - imagine that). We've got probably almost a dozen DVDs that we haven't even watched yet and I have no idea how many movies we've saved on our
TiVo's for later viewing.
We chose to watch last year's
Love Actually. It has an ensemble cast including
Liam Neeson,
Emma Thompson,
Hugh Grant (I'll
never understand a man who would cheat on
Elizabeth Hurley), and about
500 others. It tells the stories of several different couples love for each other and then they're all loosely tied together. Each story is quite different from the others, but they all seem to show genuine love. It was a good date movie.
I'd probably give it 7 or 8 out of 10, which is right in line with
IMDB's rating. Certainly worth a rental.
But you may end up with this strange song stuck in your head..."I feel it in my fingers...I feel it in my toes....The love that's all around me...And so the feeling grows..." (It's
"Love Is All Around")
