Pseudo-interesting stuff for you to enjoy…
Tori had a Dad’s Day at school where I got to visit her class and see all the things she’s been working on. This is a mask she made for some celebration in some country. I completely forgot the details.
I do remember there was much glitter involved. Always glitter. You can’t get rid of that stuff. Ever. Buries itself in the carpet. Nice looking mask though.
Tori’s Hungry Caterpillar school play has a dress rehearsal today and she needed a “beet” costume. Sounds like a tall order, huh?
Tori’s line is (I think): “On Thursday, in Russia, he ate through four beets.”
Everyone: “But he was still hungry!”
Melissa was able to create this amazing costume. There are two more beets in the back that you can’t see in the picture. That makes four!
Crazy Hair Day for school spirit week and since Melissa is substituting this week, she gets to participate as well.
It’s been too long since Chris or I have updated the blog. I thought that it would be nice to post a picture of the surprise I received from Chris’s parents.
How sweet are they!? I arrived home from volunteering at the girls’ school to find these beautiful flowers with a truly thoughtful note.
I’m really lucky to have not just Chris but his wonderful family too.
Another amazing stop motion video that I find just fascinating. Really just brilliant.
Delaney came home from a birthday party yesterday and couldn’t wait to show me what was included in the party favors — An Ahsoka PEZ from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
This is one that recently came out but I hadn’t been able to find locally. Now I must look harder to find the others.
Delaney gave me the dispenser to add to my collection. Sometimes there are benefits to having kids!
Today Tori painted this sea turtle in art class.
She spent about 15 minutes on the way home telling me how she chose certain colors to look more like seaweed and others to look more like water.
…and did you notice the bubbles Mommy?
…and did you notice his shell…
Tori thought her daddy was tall - then she met Wilt. He’s one of the characters from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
Some time ago, I used to fill this blog with mostly meaningless tech-heavy posts that few people cared about. Then I got bored/busy/uninterested/otherwise-occupied and the blog languished (see 2007 archives).
We are now entering a new era. Melissa is the new blog master and she posts exactly the things you all love. Welcome to the new Sharpes R Us.
